Biography
A Palestinian by choice, Sousan, the intermittent nomad, was born in an oil colony in Saudi Arabia and raised in Houston, Texas. She earned the title of nomad by climbing a brownstone building in New York City to save a burning giraffe. A few months ago her home was in Nazareth: a quaint town in northern occupied Palestine.
The giraffe survived and now lives with Sousan. She named him Harlem.
